Terms & Conditions

By making a booking you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions

1. Booking Payment – a) Payment for your stay is required at time of booking via our online booking system or you can (save 5%) through interac e-transfer to b) If your stay is more than two months away from the date of booking, we are happy to set up an equal payment plan for you. Please contact us by email to arrange.

2. Incidental Policy – a) NOTE: Three (3) to four (4) days before your arrival date, our office will contact you to collect a copy of your photo ID as well as a valid major credit card number for any incidentals. Once these two (2) required items are received, we will send you your welcome email with all the details you need for your stay and a smooth check in – including the door code.

3. Check-in / Check-out a) Check-in is any time after 3:30pm PST. (Early check-in requests cannot be guaranteed) Check out time 12:00pm (noon) PST. Failure to check-out by 12:00pm (noon) may result in the Guest being charged for an additional night’s accommodation at the standard applicable rate. b) Please ensure once settled in, you take the time to read through our guest information binder to get acquainted with the cabin’s features and amenities as well as nearby attractions, events and more!

4. Cancellation Policy – a) Any requests for modification to an existing reservation will be subject to availability and any rate difference if applicable. b) Cancellations made seven (7 ) or more days prior to the arrival date check in time, will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than seven (7) days, but more than three (3) days prior to the arrival date check in time, will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within three (3) days of arrival date check in time, will not receive a refund. c) Please note that cancellation must be acknowledged in writing (by email) by the proprietors, in order for it to be considered as a confirmed cancellation. Please ensure your email message has been replied to before the deadlines noted in 4. b) d) Where the Guest fails to give sufficient notice of cancellation or fails to arrive (no show) at the Cabin, the entire booking will be deemed canceled and no refund will be given. e) Where the Guest has been offered a discounted rate or promotional code, the re-use of that rate or promo is non-transferable to a new booking and deemed forfeited. f) The Owners may at any time cancel a booking if the Cabin becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside of the Owner’s control in which case the Owners will offer the Guest the option to rebook another date at the same rate; subject to availability.

5. Coupons – Coupon codes may from time to time be provided as a token of appreciation, a giveaway or contest. In order to redeem the coupon, you must make your booking online and your stay must be for a minimum of two (2) nights. All terms and conditions herein apply when redeeming coupons. 6. Pets – a) We do allow one dog or cat per booking provided the animal is of good nature and house broken. b) Please bring your pet’s bed as our furniture and beds are pet free. c) All dogs must remain on a leash at all times while on the Resort property and all dog poop must be picked up and properly disposed of. Your pet must not be left unattended in the cabin or on the deck. d) We trust that you will be in integrity with regards to your furry friend’s stay at our cabin and you understand and acknowledge that you are responsible for all costs for any damage or extra cleaning that may be incurred due to their presence in the cabin. (*this falls under incidentals 2. a))

7. Parking – a) There is room in the driveway for 2 vehicles. Please be courteous as not to park in the neighboring driveway.

8. Smoking Policy – a) we pride in providing a 100% smoke free environment for our guests, cleaning staff and family. An additional $200.00 cleaning fee will be levied (*this falls under incidentals 2. a)) for smoking or vaping in the cabin. Smoking is not permitted within 3 meters of doors, windows or vents.

9. Damage/Theft – a) we reserve the right to recuperate the cost for any theft from the cabin and resort property and/or repair costs for any damage caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guests to the cabin’s property or structure. Should this theft or damage come to light after the guest’s departure, the credit card on file will be charged. (*this falls under incidentals 2. a))

10. Children a) Children must be under supervision at all times by parents or adult carers with particular emphasis on safety of themselves and others as well as respect for other guests privacy and belongings.

11. Occupancy – a) The name on the booking is responsible for any guests at the cabin and their actions including conducting themselves in a reasonable manner and not disturbing other guests. b) You agree that you will not bring any other people than stated in the booking or over occupancy. c. You agree that you will not transfer the cabin reservation to any other person.

12. Safety & Security – a) Guests are expected to make themselves aware of fire evacuation exits, and not undertake any activity that may cause risk of fire or injury to self others or property. b) Guests must ensure when leaving the property that they close bedroom windows and that door is closed properly behind them. Guests must also ensure that all lights, heaters, fans, electronics, stove and oven re turned off before leaving. c) NOTE we do not take any responsibility for the security of your vehicle(s) or valuables.

13. Liability – our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will we be responsible for any indirect or special damages. We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control.


14. Check out – upon check out please ensure that a) the dishes are all done and put away b) the garbage and recycling are taken to the bins (by the amenities hall) c) all the thermostats are turned down to 10. d) the fire, TVs, stereo, adn stove/oven all turned OFF. That all the lights and fans are turned off. e) the windows are locked, blinds are closed and door is securely locked and closed tight behind you.
